I applied one coat of Sally Hansen Teflon Tuff extra strength nail protector, followed by two coats of the varnish. I hate waiting (what seems like hours) for my nails to dry so I applied Sally Hansen Mega Shine extended wear top coat. This product can be used on either wet or dry nails and I find it helps my varnish dry quicker as well as protecting the varnish from chipping.
