Take the Heat

I've been using Aussie products for a few months and I can safely say that its my new haircare saviour.  Having naturally frizzy/curly generally results in dry ends, its not the most flattering look to carry off.  I'm in the process of growing my hair out for my wedding, getting layers cut in wasn't the best idea.  I invested in these products and I've notice a massive improvement in the condition of my hair.

My hair feels noticeably softer, smells gorgeous and looks shiny - what more could you ask for?!

Boots are currently doing a 3 for 2 offer on all haircare products...call in and pick up some amazing products!

I love heels...

Some of you may think this is strange or simply a waste of money... I love looking at heels BUT don't exactly feel the same about wearing them. I love being comfortable and heels usually aren't suitable for a lot of day-to-day activities. It doesn't stop me from buying them...in the hope that I will have somewhere to wear them to...

Below are my favorite heels that some I've worn out of for dinner and others have never seen the light of day. From top to bottom: Exhibit, River Island, Dorothy Perkins, NEXT and H&M.

Whats new...

Hi everyone,

I haven't blogged in a very long time! I started a new job at the end of January and its taken me quite a while to adjust to 9-5 life. Being a student and working various shift patterns in previous jobs meant I wasn't quite prepared for working 8 hours straight. I've been physically and mentally exhausted therefore I haven't had the time or energy to blog.

We have finally set a date for our wedding and I'll be strutting up the aisle on 15th September 2012. It feels more real now that we have a date and can work towards something. We have a few ideas and we're both looking forward to getting them set in stone.

I celebrated my 23rd birthday - Stuartie whisked me away to Carton House, a gorgeous hotel outside Dublin <3 We enjoyed some lovely meals, the spa and some well needed time to ourselves.

Stuartie and I are off to France for 2 weeks in the summer, traveling down with my parents from the North to South, stopping off at various campsite on route until we reach our final destination at an amazing site on the beach. We plan to fly up to Paris and spend the weekend there before heading home! Probably our last holiday before the honeymoon so we will have to make the most of it.

In a bid to tone up I've started going to the gym...I think around this time of the year a lot of people want to get in shape for the summer - its more difficult than I thought to stay motivated. Working all day and feeling mentally drained...the gym is the last thing I want to do! No pain no gain...or so they say...

Top 3 perfumes

Every girl has a perfume that they keep going back to...I know I do! The following three perfumes are ones I've repurchased more than once and will continue to because they smell amazing!

Mac Hue - Turquatic
This is my favourite perfume of all time. I've been addicted to it for over 6 years and don't think I'll ever get sick of it. This is recognised as my signature smell (by Stuartie) and I'm always complimented when I wear it. It's small enough to throw into my handbag and wont weigh it down.

£18.00 MAC 20ml

Juicy Couture - Viva La Juicy

I first smelt this perfume in Duty Free when I was working at the airport. I use to walk by every day and have a sneaky squirt until I finally decided to buy it. The only perk I got when working there was discount in Duty Free so I took advantage of this and repurchased another bottle before I left. It smells extremely pretty and the bottle looks gorgeous on my chest of drawers.

£45.96 Boots 50ml

YSL - Elle

This perfume is very girl with a pretty pink and gold bottle. It smells similar to Viva La Juicy maybe not as sweet.

£50.55 Boots 50ml

I'm not a fan of sweet, overpowering, musky or floral smells. I don't know how you would describe the following perfumes...all I know is that I love them and will continue to repurchase them as old faithfuls.

If money grew on trees

Floral prints are in for 2011 and if money was no object I'd treat myself to this. I love the print and size - small enough to look dressy but big enough to fit the essentials. Retails at £195.00 on www.my-wardrobe.com.
